Abstract: The high gain antennas for mmWave communication discussed in the previous Chapter have narrow beamwidth which results in reduced multipath effects however, the beam alignment remains a challenge. The beam alignment and maintaining link between the transmitter and the receiver at mmWaves requires robust antennas whose radiation beam can be configured to a desired direction. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
