Abstract: In this paper, design of 1 bit digital metasurface reflect array is proposed for mm-Wave applications. The designed reflect array is further used for gain enhancement and beam steering. The array is composed of unit cells having a periodicity of 0.23λ0x 0.23λ0. The quantized unit cells are highly reflective with the reflection coefficient amplitude greater than 0.95. A phase difference of 1800is obtained at desired operating frequency. The designed array achieves a broadside gain of 21.50 dBi and steers the beam from -300to +30°. The designed antenna can be used for mm-Wave space and communication applications. © 2021 IEEE.
